The Fall/Winter 2013 Collection by Ghanaian fashion label MABM (Maa Akua Berko-Mensah) called “Beatitudes” features models who have Vitiligo. This collection haves a beautiful concept because its all about self-acceptance and confidence. This collection also aims to bridge the gap between culture, style and fashion, as it supports women who are comfortable in their skin and their sense of style.

Designer Maa Akua Berko-Mensah said;
“as a Ghanaian, my culture and upbringing have the biggest impact on the birth of my clothing line. The most important thing in our business is to adorn our women with confidence. At MABM Designs, our aim is to bridge the gap between culture, style and fashion. It’s really about women being able to be confident in themselves with what they wear as they embrace their nurtured sense of style.“
This collection features pieces of cobalt blues, feathers, chartreuse, garnet and maroon garments and textured skirts.
We commend this designer on the unique way she educated people about Vitiligo. Besides that the collection is very colourful and daring. What are your thoughts?
