Make-up: Liquid Eyeliner vs. Pencil Eyeliner

Eyeliner has to be a part of your makeup look. But you might get confused as to which type to buy an eye pencil or a liquid eyeliner. Both types of liners work well and mostly the choice is simply a case of personal preference. However, there are a few differences between the two. Liquid Eyeliner

- Difficult to get it right, unless technique is known and they create a softer look.

- Have to buy a new one if it dries.

- Longer lasting once applied and creates a more defined and dramatic look.

- Good for the ones with big eyes.

- Accentuates the lash line

Pencil Eyeliner

- Easy to get it right, and they create a softer look.

- Can be sharpened.

- Smudge easily, and don't create a defined of a look.

- Good for those with small eyes

- Gives a fine line

Like I said the choice between pencil and liquid really is one of personal preference and depending on the look you want to create. Just remember that you should not apply any eye makeup before you sweep your liner. After you finish applying, all you need to do is to smoothen the line. For a natural look, a pencil eyeliner is the best option. While liquid eyeliners typically emphasize smokey eyes.
