Hair: Natural Hair Vlogger Donates Hair Before Cancer Treatment + Help support With Her medical bills

Let me tell you about a natural hair vlogger that has warmed our hearts and has become a recognizable face in the fashion and natural hair world. Her name is Meechy Monroe and she ditched her perm and weave in 2009 and gained a huge following on YouTube, her blog and social media by sharing her natural hair story and style tutorials.
Recently, the natural hair world was schocked by the news of Meechy suffering from a life threatening brain tumor, a rare sarcoma (vascular cancerous tumor). She suffered from series of strokes and she was left unable to speak. Surgery required the West Pullman native to shave the hair by which she was so well-known of. Rather than lose her hair, she opted to have her hair shaved and donated to Locks of Love, a not-for-profit organization which focuses on Cancer patients coping with hair loss.

As she continues her recovery, medical bills we're piling up, and her family started a fundraising campaign through GiveForward to help pay her expenses. Only 24 hours after putting up the online campaign, it raised almost $20,000, that breaks down to almost $1,000 an hour. In an open letter to her fans, Meechy shared that she is "making drastic improvements", with the help of physical, occupational and speech therapy
Her story moved me so much. I was determined to send her a get well messages to GetWellMeechy@gmail.com. You can also show her your support by donating here!

Get well soon Meechy!
