Honorable women of substance 2011 in Nigeria

Photobucket
On Frifay 30th September 2011, Nigerian Fashion and Lifestyle Magazine TW hosted honorable women of substance in commemoration of the magazine’s 4th Anniversary. The event saw a colourful collaboration between Fashion Designer, Lanre DaSilva Ajayi and Fabric multinational, Vlisco.
Even without seeing the designs, Bola Fadina – CEO Blush Nigeria, took the initiative based on past LDA creations and decided to add splashes of cobalt blue, green, bronze, red, orange, pink and dark purple to the each models hair and nails.
"Fabrics from Vlisco are always very colourful and vibrant, I felt placing bright coloured hairpieces with matching nail polish will add more depth to each piece”, Bola explained.

Partnered by beauty house, Zaron Makeup and Hair, the makeup brief consisted of smokey eyes, faux lashes and glossy lips in pink and red hues.

  2. Nigerian fashion designers are, indeed, carving a niche for themselves worldwide. The attires are good looking but, perhaps, might have been better had a better camera been used. Some of these photos need better resolution.
