Different places and different faces… yet JBL is back again with her Spring/Summer collection, still in all its glory.
Just like we were back in the 1950s set of Nigeria, Jewel by Lisa schooled us all the way back to the old times; the music and the models strutting out in ‘Nigerian Men’ hats ticked all the boxes. We spotted effortless tailored silk numbers paired with fabrics that appeared like an artist had used a brush to put strokes on, the overlapped tailoring at the shoulder area was indeed chic and totally unexpected giving the pieces a semi-batwinged outlook, all these was all fair and good till JBL stunned us with her signature embellished ankara pieces, absolutely stunning ; it was a palette of colours – yellow, orange and blue being prominent.
Going against the norm, she successfully paired oversized separately which by all means looked great and wearable, oh and the JBL clutches were probably more talked about than twitter last night. Take a look:
