Opening Ceremony is a brand synonymous with downtown cool and the latest collection for Pre-Fall 2012 is just that with fun detailing, eye-popping color and flirty hemlines galore. Vintage silhouettes are a main influence, seen in 80′s inspired skater skirts and babydoll dresses reminiscent of the mid 1960′s Mod era. Take a look:
The color palette covers the spectrum from forest green to nude, giving the Opening Ceremony woman plenty of shades to choose from. Colorblocking is showing no signs of disappearing. Prints make an appearance in Missoni-esque chevrons and stripes which will be perfect for the transition from late summer to Fall. And the Socks are also paired with sandals in many of the looks, for a touch of whimsy and feminine flare. All of the above are of course for the fashion daredevil who is looking to truly bring vintage to life.
My favorite pieces in the collection are the sheer tops. How about you?
I dont like any of the desighns "sigh"
