Toronto based fashion designer Cynthia Kio, the creative director for Emua Fashions launches the highly anticipated Afro Urban collection. Cynthia designs her clothes around Africa culture and traditions from which she was born into. At the young age of 23 she had successfully designed and produced six collections which she has had the opportunity showcase around the world.
This collection is a compilation of jersey, tafetta and well known Ankara fabric. The collection features simple casual outfits that can be worn on a daily basis, yet can be styled up for glamorous events. Cynthia’s vision with Emua Fashions is to add class and elegance to the pre-defined "African Fashion". Her dream is to see both people of Africa and non- Africa decent embracing this twist in fashion.
