Nailz: Mariah Carey For OPI

OPI is collaborating with Mariah Carey on a limited-edition set. And they were kind enough to release the first pictures of Mariah Carey's nail polish collection.Mariah went all in on the pink and ofcourse glitter, giving us a predictably sparkly, girly collection.

While the colors themselves aren't exactly earth-shattering news, the brand is using this collaboration to introduce a brand-new type of nail finish called Liquid Sand. Four of these "Stage Shades" (as opposed to the normal "Studio Shades") feature a textured, matte finish when worn without a topcoat.

 .

“OPI is extremely excited to work with Mariah,” says Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI executive vice-president and artistic director. “She’s very passionate about beauty and her nails in particular. To pay homage to her iconic status, we wanted to launch her collection with something completely new and exciting. Liquid Sand nail lacquer offers a never-before-seen look with a pebbled finish that lightly shimmers with fine glitter particles. Worn without topcoat, Liquid Sand lacquer gives nails a unique textured matte finish worthy of a superstar.”

Mariah Carey for OPI, $8.50 (approx. EUR 6,50 )each, available in January at OPI.

  2. Strange...here in Europe, the OPI cost 13 € not 6,50 €. They are so expensive...
