O.P.I. is to launch a truly wizard collection inspired by the upcoming Disney film, Oz: The Great and Powerful. But don't expect anything red and glittery: the spring/summer 13 collection is a ruby slipper free zone. Instead the collection is based on chic nudes and sparkling gold, bronze and silvers.

Directed by Sam Raimi, the film stars James Franco as Oscar Diggs (the titular Wizard of Oz), Michelle Williams as Good Witch of the South, Glinda, and Mila Kunis as Theodora - the future Wicked Witch of the West.
Tthe ruby slippers don't feature in the O.P.I polish collection, the range does feature the brand's trademark puns. Glitter fans have the choice of Lights of Emerald City, a pale polish packed with white glitter, When Monkeys Fly!, a gold glitter polish, and Which is Witch?, a silver shade mixed with iridescent sparkles.
For those who prefer their polish a little more refined, there's the suitably demure Glints of Glinda - a shimmering beige - or I Theodora You, a winsome pale pink. Special effects fans will love What Wizardry is This? a striking bronze 'liquid sand' polish that leaves nails with an unusual textured finish.
Will you purchase?
The nail polish looks pretty good.
