Trend: Bermuda shorts

The Bermuda shorts are so-named because of their popularity in Bermuda. They are perfect for every girl during school or a casual night out.

Trend: Oversized Ruffles

About: For this Spring the ruffles are over-sized and very feminine. It caused waves on fashion runways 7 years ago. Designers are piling on the ruffles this year, using a lot and bigger of layers. You'll see them on collars sleeves, shoulders, waists etc.

Trend: Patchwork Animal Print

About: From classic leopard to a veritable spectrum of snakeskin, designers were exploring their wild sides — and the whole menagerie at that. We saw a lot of charming on-trend patchwork of animal print with a solid border that offers a touch of rock chic with a luxuriously twist.

About: Walking the line is the big thing to do for this spring, with designers galore showing stripes. Thick or skinny, horizontal or vertical, it's a trend to watch.

Trend: Short Suits

About: If long pants aren’t your thing try the short suits out! There is just something charming about a shorts suit. The trend already has the celebrity seal of approval. Everyone from Beyoncé to Brandy were seen wearing it. The right set is chic enough for most offices but still playful enough for a night out.

Trend: Japanese influence
Spotted at: Matthew Williamson & Prada, Etro, Emilio Pucci
About: There is a strong Japanese trend surfacing on the runways, kimono like garments, naïf Japanese floral prints, typical folds and high belts and samurai like armoured shoulders. The Japanese trend also picks up on an underlying form of art and design.

Trend: Sixties
Spotted at: Louis Vuitton & Kate Spade Moschino
About: Tunic dresses, a boxy silhouette and knee-high boots in pastel shades came zooming down the runways. The ‘60s trend is chock-a-block full of practical, versatile separates.
