Beyoncé and Jay-Z are pop’s first ever billionaire couple! According to the Daily Star, the music duo’s combined earnings equate to $1billion making them the first ever pop star couple to amass such a fortune.

While both husband and wife have enjoyed equally successful careers, it is actually Beyoncé who got more paper on her bankacount with her recent collaborations with Pepsi and H&M. Those collaborations have pushed the couples' earnings over the billion dollar mark. According to tabloid reports, the singer will make approximately $116 million from The Mrs Carter Show, while her H&M earnings are also thought to be in the millions. But with Jay-Z’s record label, Roc Nation as well as his own record royalties and investments in his 40/40 Club he’s not doing too badly himself.

They were named the highest paid celebrity couple of 2012 by Forbes. Loves me some Beyonce and Jay-Z! Now that they’re reached billionaire status they can reconsider to lower those damn ticket prices!!
