Shoe Discussions: Lita Booties Worlds Ugliest Shoe?

The 70′s inspired platform booties are very popular and even Jeffrey Campbell's best-selling platform ankle boot. But now the Lita's have been labelled 'the world’s ugliest shoe' - more so than Crocs, UGG Boots and even Celine's recent mink-lined sandals. Is the title deserved? Discuss after the jump:

 While there are many fashion insiders that agree, there are many more who disagree. Like, Rachel Schwartzmann, a New York City-based fashion blogger who contributes to The Huffington Post, recently wrote: 'Have a pair of eye-catching shoes, you're set. Have a pair of Jeffrey Campbell's Lita's in your closet, you're golden.

Nylon magazine's Ali Hoffman also wrote last year: 'Jeffrey Campbell is to shoes as Ben & Jerry's is to ice cream: What first sounds like a crazy-slash-overwhelming mess of ingredients somehow works perfectly in real life.'

 They are not the cutest shoe ever but love to see when girls rock it! As for me, my feet are too big to rock such a clunky shoe and clomping around like a horse. What do you girls think? Do you own a pair of Lita booties?
