Discussion: Is Kim Kardashian Pregnancy Style That Bad?

Ever since Kim Kardashian baby bump is expanding she has been getting near-constant criticism of her maternity style and weight gain. The media accuses her of wearing tasteful pencil skirts, drapey layers, sheer tops and overly sexy clubwear. The majority has come from folks wondering why her clothes are so tight and her heels so high during her pregnancy. But what they don’t realize that she has all of her clothes custom made to fit her growing belly, and overall, looking good is what makes her happy. Is the media getting a little to harsh or are they kinda right?

 It seems that people’s opinions starting to get to Kim. She stated on her blog:

 I saw some comments that were so critical! It’s funny because Kourtney warned me that when I get pregnant people’s opinions will be on an all time high and everyone will chime in! So I now see what she means. I saw some comments that the skirt is too tight for the pregnancy and that’s ridiculous! I bought this skirt a few sizes bigger and there is plenty of room. For any concern that my clothes are too tight, I have so many pieces custom fit for my growing body! They make pregnancy Spanx which are tight. So this theory sounds ridiculous! I feel my best when I am in heels and chic clothes! Happy mommy, happy baby! 

 She also mentioned on Good Morning America that she prefers heels over flats, because flats hurt her back.


I dont get what the issue is? She is preggy and making the best of it. This is her first so let her enjoy it. I think women being pregnant should just be left alone. Even though I never been through that, I can imagine you’re already feeling like something foreign took over your body. And to have everybody commenting on it, that’s tough. Let her wear what she wants. She’s so beautiful — with a face like that, who cares what your body’s doing?
