Make-up Scare: Rihanna’s Lipstick Gives Herpes?

THE RANDOMNESS: Rihanna's lipstick gave me herpes! That is what a New York woman claims. She is even filing a lawsuit after allegedly contracting oral herpes at Rihanna concert, from free sample of RiRi Woo lipstick.

Her name is Starkeema Greenidge and she claims that she was infected by the virus when she sampled a lipstick offered by one of the singer's sponsors. The Harlem resident told that she is suffering from mental anguish and emotional distress caused by Rihanna's signature RiRi Woo lipstick. "This is going to happen over and over again if nothing is done," the 28-year-old waitress said . "I wasn't able to work for two weeks. It cost me a lot of money."

She was herpes-free when she arrived at Rihanna's 7 May gig at Brooklyn's Barclays Center. But after she endorsed the Rihanna's red Woo lipstick everything went wrong. After 2 days she discovered a cold sore on her lip. A doctor diagnosed the bump as oral herpes.... YIKES

The suit says the employee told her to “press her lips together and spread the lipstick around,” It also reads, “(MAC) didn’t use a fresh or new lipstick tube, but rather one that had been used for other patrons. “(MAC) should have known . . . it was unsanitary and exposing patrons to possible spread of disease.

It may be that the Make up artist didn’t clean the lipstick properly , but on the other hand, I know when I go to the MAC counter, they always clean the lipstick before someone tries it on, however, in this case, it may not have happened. What is your take on this?
