Shoe Tip: 4 Tips On How To Overcome Sweaty Feet

Soggy, stinky, smelly. Let's face it sweaty smelly feet are a real pain. Bacteria and fungi break down that sweat in the warm moist darkness and as a by-product produce that humm. But sweaty feet are also often related to other conditions like stress and hormonal changes that do not just require a quick fix or superficial cover up. Remember your feet are wonderful lifestyle compasses. So, how to overcome? Lets show your feet who's boss after the jump:

- Wash your feet thoroughly with deodorant soap, and dry them completely before you put your shoes on. If your problem is severe, you may need to wash your feet several times a day.

- Apply a regular underarm antiperspirant to your feet every night before bed, and before you put your shoes on in the morning. - Shake a light dusting of foot powder or cornstarch on your feet and inside your shoes. This will help to absorb moisture during the day.

- Choose socks with natural fibers, such as cotton or wool, and avoid synthetic fibers. If your problem is severe, change your socks in the middle of the day. Never wear socks more than one day without laundering them.

- Wear leather or canvas shoes, which will allow your feet to breathe. Avoid shoes made of rubber or synthetic material. Wear open-toed shoes when the weather allows. If possible, don't wear the same shoes two days in a row. Skipping a day will allow them time to dry out completely.
If your sweaty feet comes from stress, it's important to change your lifestyle and diet to give you back the power to help control smelly sweaty feet. For instance, look up relaxation tips to overcome anxiety and stress.
