Make-up Tip: How To Get Flawless Skin Just Like J.Lo's

J.Lo is getting hotter and hotter as each year passes. How the hell does her skin stay so insanely flawless? Her makeup artist, Mary Phillips reveales her flawless-skin secret. Read it after the jump:

Most of Jennifer's gorgeous makeup looks start with good skin care. "I'd say skin prep is the most important part of your makeup routine," Phillips tells www.byrdie.com.  

 "People should start thinking of their skin care as their makeup — if your skin isn't in prime condition, it hinders what I'm able to accomplish [as a makeup artist]."

Mary  also revealed that she smooths on a heady cocktail of L'Oréal's Age-Perfect Glow Renewal Day Lotion and RevitaLift Moisture Blur before moving on to the makeup.

Sidenote: Many Latinas also need to color correct to cover any brown spots or purple-y tones, especially under the eyes or around the mouth. The technique is to apply an orange color corrector before the foundation or to mix it together with the foundation and apply to any problem areas.
