Vlisco “Delicate Shades” For Miss Nigeria 2011!
As an official sponsor for the Miss Nigeria 2011, the finalists were dressed in Vlisco evening gowns made with fabrics from the new ‘Delicate Shades’ collection, for the final show, which took place on Friday 18th november at the Expo Center, Eko Hotel and Suites.
According to Vlisco, the decision to work together with the Miss Nigeria Pageant, stemmed from the need to work with an organisation recognized in offering an excellent stepping stone for women towards obtaining a successful career and independence.
While the contestants stayed in the house for 2 weeks, before the grand finale, Vlisco organised a styling event for the contestants, providing each finalist with the task of adding the finishing styling touches to their Vlisco outfit, complete with accessories, to create a stunning evening look. Tjarda Wessels, a Vlisco stylist, gave the ladies tips on the right look for their personality and how to appropriately for a formal occasion.
Check out the Vlisco “Delicate Shades” collection as worn by the beauty queens.
