Try a trend: Patterned Tights for fall
At the Fall shows speckled tights were running rampant and looking uber chic. Moschino added a little leg pattern for an extra does of excitement.
The last few years I keep seeing patterned tights getting more and more popular. When I first starting seeing these tights, I found them really hard to find. But luckily now I see them everywhere and the style are all so different that you can really find some unique pairs.
I know that we have seen way too much of the Kardashian drama lately but of all the sisters, I really do enjoy Kourtney’s style. Recently, she was photographed out and about in NYC wearing alphabet patterned tights. I think they looked great on her.
This season black patterned tights in particular are the hot ticket, and they pair best with darker shades be it above the knee skirts, dresses or shorts especially if you are vertically challenged. I personally like to stick with black on black to lengthen the leg and to give a better overall silhouette.
If you are feeling less than confident on your first time out… black on black calls attention to your overall look and doesn’t scream – please look at my legs!
Add a little back booties with at least a three inch heel to keep the lines of the body looking long and lean.
Rihanna’s garter tights hit the ‘net, you can get a similar look with these $34 Pretty Polly ‘House of Holland Super Suspender’ Tights
Rih’s tights are certainly saucy, but the patterned look in general is super hot for fall!My favorite right now are these $55 Wolford Houndstooth Tights
What I like about the newest trend in accessories—patterned tights—is that they are an easy way to add texture, dimension, fun and personality to an outfit without making a huge dent in your wallet. Ditch your boring old black tights and opt for something with diamonds, hearts or stripes.
Check here or here for more patterned thights!
I think you could have a lot of fun with this trend. Would you or have you tried wearing patterned tights? Which pair is your fave?
