For her newest offerings, Delfina Delettrez (a fourth-generation Fendi) drew inspiration from ancient Rome, a civilization no doubt near and dear to every Italian’s heart. Keeping in the tradition of Roman opulence, Delettrez looks to some of the most iconic symbols of the empire to inform her designs. Take a look at the collection:
Delettrez’s offerings give off a vibe of deliberate antiquity– while the pieces are quite modern, they posess this sort of vintage quirk that makes it difficult, as the designer said to, “understand if they were contemporary or antiques.”
Cracked columns and chipped mosaic pieces serve as the foundation for this collection, along with other icons of Roman culture like harps and ornately curled crown molding.
Nice pieces
