The Royal British Legion is aiming to raise £42m this year to help servicemen, women and families, beating a £40m record in 2011. Their annual poppy appeal was launched last week with a concert in Trafalgar Square, London. Singers Alesha Dixon and Pixie Lott, adopted as the faces of the 2012 appeal, were cheered by crowds as they headlined the free gig, Alesha hit the stage wearing River Island Light Wash Texas Denim Shirt. The Royal British Legion included performances by The Corps of Drums of the 1st Battalion Coldstream Guards, the 1st Battalion Irish Guards and the trumpeters from the Band of the Grenadier Guards.

Alesha hit the stage wearing River Island Light Wash Texas Denim Shirt with metal tip collar and navy skinnies. She also wore stunning “Dyed Jade” Statement Necklace from Martine Wester‘s new “Cabaret” and a pair of black Steve Madden “Olympiaa” Wedge Sneakers completed the look.
