Colored contacts and circle lenses among other lenses are really popular nowadays. A quite few stars are sporting one. Take a look at Jennifer Williams, Paris Hilton, Kenya Moore, Malaysia Pargo, Naomi Campbell etc. Colored contacts are cosmetic accessories used by people interested in temporarily changing their eye color. But what do you think, are colored contacts still a turn-off? Leave your opinion after the jump:

There are times when we all feel a little bored with our natural look or our natural eye color so we choose something to spice up our look, like wearing colored eye contacts.
Colored contact show a variety in the face and can work well with different outfits and looks. They also come in handy when you really need a good vision, but crazy eye designs are a complete turn off for me just saying. I guess the bigger turn-off is that it could be a sign of: high-maintenance
or lack of self-confidence, but I am interested in your opinons on this fashion trend
I asked my friend about this matter and she did not get why people always have something to say about colored contacts when plenty of black women walk around wearing hair that anyone with basic knowledge of 8th grade science know didn't grow out of their head, yet, folks don't say anything? Who cares what she has in her eyes or anyone else as for as that goes.
She does have a point! I remember when color contacts were in LOL. So many people were wearing them back then. But what are your thoughts about colored contacts? Are they considered fake?

ReplyDeleteIt cool to change or tweak ones look every so often so a set of color contacts can be a nice thing to have. All in all it's more attractive if someone is confidant. I would go for the most natural looking color contacts I could find if you get them.

ReplyDeleteJust as with everything else, it's just a way to be and express yourself.
I think I've gotten used to them. In the past, some people really looked tacky in them. They chose some colors that just looked terrible. I mean, people should be able to have fun with fashion but come on now, certain colors just looked odd with certain outfits, hair color, etc.
ReplyDeleteI think as time passed, people became more aware of which combinations really worked to their benefit.
