Happy friday! Who doesn’t need a little party break during the repetitive workweek? We had a blast during our girls night out in London. For all the girls, women of all ages, whom go out with their girlfriends and have a much-needed night out, here are the rules (guidelines) to having a fantastic time and keeping everyone happy before going out and after going out:
Even though we are out and about with our friends, having a blast, taking pictures, and having some alcoholic beverages, we must adhere to the GNO Berges Code of Conduct.

Before going out:
1. Plan it around your interests and budget. A girls night out can be a group of friends dressing up and going to dinner or drinks. Make sure you only invite the gal pals you know will make this occasion rock.

2. To make sure that you're not rushing, start to get ready approximately 3 hours before you have arranged to go out. This doesn't mean you'll be full-on prepping but it does give you time to relax in between getting ready, allowing for a leisurely preparation time.

3. Never leave your house empty stomach if you plan to drink as food helps to absorb alcohol. Eat a good stomach-lining meal before you head out. We don't want you to get drunk just after one shot......

4.Treat yourself to a luxurious bath before heading out. Pamper your face and apply moisturiser, preferably scented, to help feel pampered. Moisturiser will help make the makeup stay better throughout the night. For the girls who are going BOY hunting, apply lipstain, not gloss, if you're feeling seductive. Men just can't stand kissing sticky lips.

5.Wear your highest, sexiest heels. Hailing a cab barefoot at the end of the night is a small price to pay for feeling fabulous.

6. PLEASE wear white underwear if you're going to a club with ultraviolet lighting. There's nothing like an illuminated crotch to spoil your night.

7. For a night out, it is best to focus on a certain feature. This might be: eyes with false eyelashes, smokey eyes or dramatic eyeliner, or focus on your lips using either gloss or bright lips. Also, fix your hair and decide on a style that will suit your outfit and where you're going. Either straighten, curl or create an interesting up-do. Also, make sure you're happy with the hairstyle, so that you won't be playing with it all night.

8.You should also organise your bag. Remember these important things: ID, money, bank card (in case of emergencies), key, flat shoes to change into, mobile phone, essential makeup for any touch-ups and camera (or use the one with your phone).

During your outing: 

9. Expand your circle of friends. On a night out with the girls, invite one or two people you don't know very well. You'll broaden your social circle and give others the opportunity to meet new people too

10. Don't hide among your girlfriends if a guy catches your eye. You're much more approachable standing at the bar looking thirsty.

11. Don’t act like a naïve person by leaving your handbag unattended when you get up for a dance. You may think that it is safe leaving your bag but it can easily disappear in a fraction of a second. Take care of your belongings properly to avoid getting into an awkward and problematic situation.

12. Do not forget to take your mobile phone with you. Remember to take it fully charged and with sufficient credit. In noisy settings bear in mind to keep your phone on vibrating mode as you will never be able to hear the ringer. If you loose your friends by any chance or get trapped in a tricky situation, your phone will aid to your rescue.

13. Do not mix your drinks and always stay in your limits. Avoid being reckless and irresponsible while drinking. Drinking too quickly can also turn dangerous, so enjoy your drink at a snail’s pace.

After going out:

14. It is important to talk about “who, what, when, where and how” of your evening’s possibilities. Remember to decide who is going to be the designated driver of your evening. Be clear about the meeting spot in terms of where and when. It is very important to make sure everyone is on the same page to avoid any confusions and misunderstandings.

15. After going out you might try carpooling. Not only does it save on gas money, but adds an element of safety if you are out late (not too late—nothing good ever happens after midnight).

16. If you opt to return home in a taxi it is always better to have a friend with you. Try not to travel alone in the night, and in case you have to, always sit in the back seat. Inform by calling or by sending a text with the taxi number and driver ID to your parents or your friend for your personal safety. And do remember to let them know once you arrive home safe and sound.

17.Use the camera with caution. If you are compelled to document the evening with a photo, make sure you get the picture early on in the evening, when everyone is at their best. Don't post anything on Facebook without permission from friends in the photo. Also, remember that not everything needs to be on social media. Posts about your fun evening with the gals can cause hurt feelings among friends who weren't invited.
