Hot News: The Solangegate Aftermath - Beyonce & Jay Z Release Statement + Standard Hotel Fires Employee Who Leaked The Vid

It’s been three days since TMZ released the explosive video where Jay Z was violently attacked by his wife Beyonce‘s younger sister Solange Knowles. After guessing and making up numerous stories on what could have possibly caused the fight Beyonce, Jay Z, and Solange Knowles have FINALLY released a statement explaining the incident. Plus, The Standard Hotel fires the employee who leaked the Jay Z & Solange Knowles Elevator Fight Video. In other words, what these 2 parties are trying to say is that WE CAN MOVE ON WITH OUR LIVES NOW..... Read both statements after the jump:

The joint statement of Beyonce, Jay Z and Solange reads:

“As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it, Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family.”

“The reports of Solange being intoxicated or displaying erratic behavior throughout that evening are simply false,” the statement continued. “At the end of the day families have problems and we’re no different. We love each other and above all we are family. We’ve put this behind us and hope everyone else will do the same.”

Also, the Standard Hotel has announced that they have fired the person who leaked the surveillance video of Solange Knowles physically attacking Jay Z in an elevator at the hotel. The person in question, recorded the live feed from the security office from their cell phone, and then forwarded it over to TMZ. The video was sold to TMZ for $250,000 after being shopped around for nearly five days to the highest bidder.

Solange & Beyonce both broke their silence and uploaded numerous old school pictures of themselves posing together on their instagram accounts.

For the people who did not get to see the Crazy Video (uhum uhum) peek it below:

Can we say .... what a week! But honestly was the $250,000 all worth it????
