It hasn't been confirmed yet, but it seems like high-fashion designer labels like Versace and Marni has rubbed off on H&M. Rumors are circulating that the mega-retailer is planning on creating a luxury brand that's slightly more expensive than their high-end COS brand (American H&M fans don't have access to COS, which has stand-alone stores only here in Europe).
This new collection will mostly likely be its own separate brand under the H&M Group (which includes Cheap Monday and Monki). The story originated in Dagens Industri, a financial daily pub in Sweden, and while the spokeswoman didn't confirm the claim, which is said to involve designer Behnaz Aram, she also didn't deny it.
