You wouldn’t know their faces, even though they appear regularly in sold-out musicals and on the nation’s favourite television shows. Elegancy101 Special: Floating Fashion Week 2013 - Miss Pearl Couture & Emily K design

Hey Ladies! So Elegancy101 has been enjoying the summer while attending various fashion events! We were invited to the Floating Fashion Week (FFW)  in Amsterdam, world's first Fashion Week on the water. Models took to the water aboard a specially designated runway boat which cruised through the Dutch capital's waterways, celebrating their 400th anniversary this year. Dutch and international designers displayed their creations. We enjoyed the unique and custom made designs by Miss Pearl Couture  and astonishing accessories by Emily K design!

Event: Miss Sierra Leone Holland 2012 - Wuyata Sowa

And we've got a winner! Law student, Miss Moyamba (Wuyata Sowa), took the prestigious crown home. A jury of 7 honourble men and women from five different countries had to choose a winner among nine winners and Haja Fatmatta Binta Wurie Minister Counsellor / Head of Chancery from the Sierra Leone Embassy in Belgium was given the honour to crown the new Face of Sierra Leone. Brussels Airlines sponsored the main prize: A return ticket for the winner to visit the Orphanage in Sierra Leone. Other prizes include paid modeling contract for 6 of the contestants.
